National Bed Month - Creating the Perfect Sleep Environment for your Guests
Your guest’s health and wellbeing is an important consideration for any hotelier and sleep is a vital component within this. At Hypnos, we take sleep very seriously, and we’re committed to crafting beds which are designed to give the sleeper the perfect environment for their body to relax, fall asleep and wake up refreshed.
So, in celebration of National Bed Month this March, Chris Ward, Hypnos Marketing Director, and our resident sleep and wellbeing expert Natalie Pennicotte-Collier, offer their advice on creating the perfect sleep environment for a guest bedroom.
Here, Chris Ward offers his advice on choosing the best mattress for sleep in your hotel:

“A calm and relaxing bedroom is key to a good night’s sleep. A bedroom that is quiet, cooler than you think (ideally 18 degrees centigrade) and completely dark will help create the ideal environment to help invite replenishing and quality sleep. Make sure that light is minimised and try using blackout blinds if required.
“Where possible, try to create a calm bedside table, free of all distractions including technology. If noise is an issue, supply your guest with some earplugs to cancel out all the disruptions or think about what ‘white noise’ apps or music you could choose instead.
