Award winning bed manufacturer, Hypnos, has donated 20 beds to Morgan Stanley House, the new ‘home from home’ accommodation for families whose children are being treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Morgan Stanley House provides out of town parents of seriously ill children, a friendly and comfortable place to stay while their children are being treated. The five-story Georgian home offers eight private en-suite bedrooms, for which Hypnos has donated a total of 20 new single and double beds to help parents get a good night’s sleep. The single beds have contributed to some much-needed twin rooms, along with Hypnos’ clever design innovations which have given the house more versatility thanks to its pull out hidden underbeds that extra guests can use.

Because of the specialist care given at GOSH, over half of the children treated there live outside of the capital and some need to stay anything from a few nights to a few months – making it vital for families to have nearby accommodation.

John Woolley, Managing Director at Hypnos Contract Beds said: “As a family-run business, we take our corporate and social responsibilities very seriously and are delighted to help Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity in this way.

“A good night’s sleep is particularly important during times of stress, so we wanted to provide Morgan Stanley House with a range of quality sleep solutions, making sure those that stay there can all sleep comfortably.”

Emily Conquest, Account Manager at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity said: “A big thank you to Hypnos for their donation of high-quality beds to the House. They will really make a difference to the families staying here, who have already given some very positive feedback on the beds.”
