We're delighted to have donated 200 trees to a Buckinghamshire school as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the community and environment.

Pupils aged four to eleven from Hughenden Primary School in High Wycombe were joined by James Keen, Managing Director of our retail division, to begin planting the trees on earlier this month.

We gifted the trees to provide an interesting learning resource for the next generation of environmental ambassadors, which it hopes will play a vital part in teaching the children about sustainability.

Senior lead teacher at the school, Linda O’Malley, was delighted with the event and believes the children will learn a lot from nurturing the trees going forward.

She said, we are incredibly grateful to Hypnos for donating the trees to our school. The children are going to benefit hugely from seeing them planted, and as a result, watching the woodland area become a hive for local wildlife. It is vital that children grow up understanding nature and green issues, and this generous tree donation will help us to ensure they are being taught about sustainability and the future.

By donating the trees, we are hoping to encourage schools to make the most of their grounds by helping them to create interesting woodland habitats and increased biodiversity.
