It goes without saying that a good night’s sleep is even more magical and beneficial when followed by a hearty breakfast. Which is one of the reasons why award-winning British bed manufacturer and Royal Warrant holder, Hypnos, will continue to support, Magic Breakfast, as its charity partner for 2019.

Magic Breakfast is a registered children’s charity providing healthy breakfasts and expert support to schools in disadvantaged areas of the UK. A good breakfast is crucial for giving children the energy and concentration they need during their school day and improving their overall education¹. Pair this with a good night’s sleep, something Hypnos is passionate in educating youngsters about, and it will help them to kick-start a busy day at school feeling refreshed and alert.

Hypnos’ commitment to the charity is evident through donating part of its profits and its fundraising drives and initiatives, which have included sponsored bike rides, employee duvet day competitions, company football matches and many more, over the last 3 years. Totalling an incredible £60,000 in donated funds to date, with a goal already set to reach £80,000 by next year.

The money raised to date will help to provide 200,000 healthy and nutritious breakfasts to children who need them most.

Hypnos’ partnership with Magic Breakfast means that the charity is one step closer to their mission to make sure that no child in the UK starts their school day too hungry to learn.

Magic Breakfast works with 480 Primary, Secondary and Special Educational Needs schools, plus Pupil Referral Units, giving a nutritious breakfast to more than 40,300 children each school day, but with many thousands more still needing their support.
