You can put a price on the perfect night's sleep… And it's £10,750,000!
Purchasing a multi-million-pound property in London City Centre is a complex, long-winded affair at the best of times. However, as The Corinthia Hotel in London found when selling their £10.75 million penthouse, the deal-breaker was actually a perfect night’s sleep on Hypnos beds.
The sale agreement, reached earlier this week with a multi-millionaire from Hong Kong was concluded in less than 72 hours, but only after The Corinthia agreed for the residency to be fitted with Hypnos mattresses, complete with bed linens and throws from the hotel itself.
According to the Evening Standard, the businessman who purchased the property had previously viewed properties around Mayfair and Chelsea, but opted for The Corinthia because that is where he had enjoyed his best nights’ rest.
Chris Ward, Marketing Director at Hypnos Beds, said: “We are renowned for supplying high quality beds to some of the world’s most stunning, luxury hotels, helping them to offer an amazing sleep experience to their guests, and I guess this latest news is testament to just how comfortable they are!”
The purchase of the 3,703 sq ft trophy home is ‘the biggest deal in Whitehall in the last five years’ according to Simon Deen, Director & Partner at Aston Chase who were estate agents on the sale.
