Explore Modern Luxury with Hypnos at The Independent Hotel Show 2025
Hypnos Contract Beds showcased our sustainable and ethically made hotel mattresses at the Independent Hotel Show (IHS), which took place 6–7 October at Olympia, London. Visitors had the opportunity to explore this year's show theme, 'Redefining Luxury' with us.
The Hypnos Contract Beds stand was also home to the next episode of our popular Pillow Talks interview series. On Monday at 2:00 PM, presenter Zoe Monk sat down with Andrew Coggins, GM of the Grand Jersey Hotel and Spa, to explore what luxury means today for this five-star Hand Picked Hotels resort, located on the edge of St Aubin’s Bay in St Helier, Jersey.
The Pillow Talks series got under the covers with leading hospitality figures, designers and specifiers in a relaxed and informal setting to uncover industry talking points and future trends, and how Hypnos mattresses are elevating guest experiences across the UK’s finest independent hotels. Recent Pillow Talks included Langdale Chase, named Countryside Hotel of the Year 2024 by The Times and Sunday Times - and 
featured a talk from The Store, Oxford, a 101-room hotel reimagining the former Boswells department store into a vibrant destination for both residents and travellers.
For those who missed out on IHS this year, or were simply doing this season’s show rounds, Hypnos Contract Beds will also be at HIX LDN, 26-27th November, at the Building Design Centre, London. There will be a taste of Hypnos' handcrafted mattresses on Stand 28, where we will show how our sustainably and ethically made approach brings hotels a unique sleeping experience.
Autumn also marked the occasion when Hypnos Group Managing Director David Baldry present the Hotel Management Scholarship Award at the NEWH Fundraiser and Scholarship Awards. As a sponsor of the NEWH UK Chapter, Hypnos supports the work of the international non-profit community in connecting the industry and its programme of scholarships, education, leadership development and recognition of excellence.
