The theme for this year's HIX taking place 26th and 27th November at The Business Design Centre, is ‘Culture Clash’. The perfect opportunity to showcase our sustainable and ethically made hotel mattresses. Visitors can find us on Stand 1140.

Based in the heart of Buckinghamshire, this fifth-generation family-owned business is focused on handcrafting the perfect night’s sleep for private homes and hotels around the world. A Royal Warrant holder since 1929, Hypnos is proud to be appointed by His Majesty The King for Mattresses, Beds and Upholstery.
So, it was only right that at HIX 2025 we collaborated with British brands that share the same passion for craftsmanship, sustainability and enduring quality.
Headboard and divan fabric by Emma J Shipley
Shipley’s work is instantly recognisable. Each piece begins as a pencil drawing before merging traditional craftsmanship with contemporary techniques. Her style is bold, colourful, and unapologetically imaginative, perfect for a night devoted to letting creativity run wild.
Headboard upholstered in Bosque Dreams
Enter a jungle dreamscape inspired by Emma’s travels to Costa Rica, one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. Featuring the standout puma surrounded by other creatures, including macaws, monkeys, sloths, and ocelots.
Divan Upholstered in Wildstripe
A striking abstract design, Emma’s signature fantastical zebra illustrations are transformed by looking ever so closely at the wonders of the creature’s own stripe.
Soft to the touch, this jacquard velvet, semi-plain fabric is perfect for the moment when you want a beautiful, tactile fabric to feel soothing and luxurious and as a coordinate for the more pictorial designs in the collection.
Wall Coverings by Newmor
Newmor is the largest independent commercial wallcovering manufacturer in the UK. Established in 1967, and are still family owned today. Their specialist wallcoverings are specified in hotels, workplaces, and the wider hospitality sector world-wide.
Eri Silk is refined, elegant, and timeless. The versatile palette ranges from tonal neutrals to rich, decadent tones. The luxurious tones and intricate texture of this wallcovering allow designers to define what modern luxury is in today’s commercial interiors. This design is the epitome of delicate detail, featuring a sophisticated horizontal texture and irregular tactile elements, enhanced by a subtle print.
This tactile print in 20 colourways has a coarser, more rustic texture compared to traditional silk, giving it a unique look and feel.
This product range also contains at least 20% recycled material. Eri Silk is also known as ‘peace silk’ as no moths are harmed in the production process.
Flooring by Amtico

Rug by Ulster Carpets
The Tide tufted rug, from the Vista Collection, features a flowing pattern with contrasting areas of stippled colour and bright loop pile. The pale neutral oatmeal colour rug was chosen to contrast with the warmth of the wood flooring.
Lights and Switches by Buster + Punch
Buster + Punch’s work is inspired by London’s fashion, music and sub-culture scenes, collaborating with street artists, bike builders and fashion designers to inject attitude into their crafted products.
The forked pendant is made from cast and machined metal, featuring Buster + Punch’s signature diamond-cut linear knurl pattern and fork detailing, refined by hand. Its shade is made from hand-spun metal, and it comes with a handblown glass globe. This style is available in medium and large in four different colourways.
