Hypnos, which makes sustainable beds and mattresses, is inviting apprentices to join its successful initiative this National Apprenticeship Week.

Following a period of increased customer demand, Hypnos is investing in the expansion of its production facilities at both its Princes Risborough and Castle Donington sites. This has created five apprenticeship opportunities with three roles available at its Princes Risborough factory and two at its Castle Donington site. The positions are in bedmaking and warehousing and are ideal for those interested in on-the-job training and an opportunity to move into further education. Bed making apprenticeships can expect to get hands on, learning how to craft beds using time honoured methods.

Offering a wide range of apprenticeships, the award-winning luxury bed manufacturer is looking for those aged 16 and up to join the company to help grow its team and the business. Hypnos’ Apprenticeship Scheme combines on-the-job training and further education with mentoring and coaching, offering a clear pathway for apprentices to progress into full time employees.

Stephanie Yule, Group Head of HR at Hypnos, said: “National Apprenticeship Week is the perfect opportunity for us to highlight the value of apprenticeships. At Hypnos, we’ve been training apprentices for over a decade, with some fantastic success stories throughout different areas of the business, from production to support functions like marketing, IT and finance.

“With our usual methods of recruitment, such as college fairs and school visits, not possible over the past couple of years, we wanted to use this National Apprentice Week to showcase the fantastic career opportunities available here for the next generation of master craftspeople. We are committed to supporting the manufacturing industry by providing young, talented people with Apprenticeships and jobs that will help them to prepare for specialist roles.”

Running from the 7th to the 13th of February with a theme of ‘Build the Future’, National Apprenticeship Week aims to raise awareness of the apprenticeship opportunities in the UK, as well as celebrating the benefits that apprenticeships have on individuals, businesses, and local communities.
